DS Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge) is seriously gunning for her biological mum Kim Tate (Claire King) in Emmerdale – but the Home Farm Queen has no idea that she is sharing a village with the daughter she gave up 26 years ago.
Kim is bewildered at being arrested for a crime that she, for once, has no involvement in but the audience now know why abandoned Thea has it in for her.
And she could be just as ruthless as her dangerous mum as she seeks vengeance.
But how far will she go to torment oblivious Kim? And is she risking her own downfall in the process?
According to show boss Laura Shaw, the viewers might know the truth, but that doesn’t mean Kim will any time soon.
‘While the viewers have been granted access to the mystery surrounding DS Ramsden’s true identity, it will be some time before Kim suspects that the child she surrendered is operating within her immediate circle,’ the producer revealed.
‘As Kim desperately tries to prevent Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) from proceeding with Baby Tate’s adoption, the painful recollection of giving up her own baby remains vividly present.
‘She is completely unaware that the daughter she left behind is actually right under her nose.’
The grudge is festering and will undoubtedly step up as the weeks and months go by.

Claire King warned us of carnage and drama when the truth eventually comes to light. But she reasoned that her alter ego might want to build bridges with Thea rather than fight her back.
‘I think she really wanted to just wipe it out of her brain, because she thought she was giving Anthea to a good home, that she was happy.
‘It was down to her daughter to find her because she had no idea where she was. And I think she’s put it in the back of her mind.
‘I think she’d particularly want to establish a bond with her because of the fact she thought she had a bond with Jamie, loved him, gave him the world, but it all went sour.
‘She’d be hesitant, and she’ll be treading very carefully, but I think she would love to have a bond with her daughter.
‘I think it’d be lovely to have all the kids together, but it would be absolute carnage!’
As for Chelsea Edge, who has already proven popular as the badass detective, she is thrilled to be getting her teeth into the new role.
Known for Death In Paradise, The Missing and I Hate Suzie, the actress enthused: ‘I have loved joining Emmerdale and keeping this secret. I think it became apparent fairly quickly to the viewers that DS Ramsden and Serena already knew each other from their work in the police, but little did they know that was just the tip of the iceberg.
‘The real mystery – that Kim is actually Thea’s mother – was still to be discovered.
‘I hope that now it’s out in the open the viewers will follow the story and see how Thea’s determination and bitterness develops. It’s clear she’s very keen to understand why Kim, who seemingly has everything, status, wealth and power to give her away all those years ago.
‘As to how far the apple falls from the tree… I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but there’s certainly a lot more drama to come…’

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
